Curious penguin interrupts wildlife photographers, walking right up to them, and the three become fast flippery friends: '[He] came RIGHT UP to me!'

You know, there are not too many jobs out there that we can say that we are jealous of people having. We like our jobs. We like writing about animals and memes for a living. It's pawsome. But one of the downsides of having a job like ours is that it has, unfortunately, made us aware of some jobs that, in a different lifetime, we would have liked to have.

Like being a panda nanny. We didn't know such a thing existed, but now that we do, we are incredibly jealous. Or being a caretakes to a shoebill - one of the coolest looking birds, who is definitely a descendant of dinosaurs. And of course, we did know about wildlife photographers, but we only knew about them from the occasional educational clip on YouTube or something. We didn't know what wildlife photographers get interrupted by animals so often, and we definitely had no idea that having a job like that, with all of its demands, could be so friggin' worth it.

Okay, so we have to say that we do love his reaction. Because that would be our reaction as well. We react like that when our house cat that we have had for almost ten years comes up to us and asks to cuddle. If a wild penguin did this to us… we would be talking about it for the rest of our lives.

This would literally be the best day of our lives forever. You could not make us stop talking about it. Chosen. By a penguin. We do not know how they managed to hold themselves back from petting it. Because we would have tried. We definitely would have.
